Food Analytical Proceedings holds an important role in food science and represents a real professional forum for staff members of universities, authorities, laboratories, and research institutes. Edition and publication of the paper was taken over by the Laboratory in 2014, the journal was revamped, it is now bilingual, publications can be searched for online and downloaded in digital formats, thus both the international professional community and the market can get easy access to the renewed contents and the archive materials alike.
More than twenty years of experiences, a substantial part of the wealth of knowledge accumulated in the laboratory were disclosed to the public at our website dedicated to popular science, Laboratorium.hu: nearly 300 articles were published, taken over from us by both the scientific papers and the mainstream media on numerous occasions, forwarding these useful messages of public interest to millions of people. By now, Laboratorium.hu is one of the key scientific portals in Hungary.
Together with its partners (OVF, MAVÍZ, PET Cup, CSOPA) we launched the Tiny Plastic Riddle project in 2018 with the aim to assess the micro-plastic levels of the river Danube and it tributaries after the completion of the measurements on the river Tisza. These results represent a milestone in the management of the environmental risks micro-plastics entail.
